Honey, now if I'm honest...

Why can't I make up my mind?

safe at last
I know you were all on the edge of your seats waiting to find out what happened with the mutant teenage ninja turtle spider, so it's with great pleasure that I can finally announce:
"The mutant has left the building!"

Turns out my room mate's boyfriend is more scared of spiders than I am. He was staying over last night and Mr Mutant Spider happened to be on the wall of said room mate's bedroom just above her bed. He cried like a sissy girl until she was forced to remove the spider with the old tupperwear-container-and-a-piece-of-cardboard trick.

Done and done. I can now sleep easy. And cancel that removalist truck.

Meanwhile, just as a little community service announcement for y'all, I've stumbled across a neat website called PeekVid. And maybe I'm waaaay late in jumping on the bandwagon or maybe there's tonnes of better sites out there in the wild internetz which do a similar thing, but I think it's heaps awse. Quality's pretty shite, but for someone who hates waiting for stuff to download it's a dream come true! Instant fun. Check it out! So far today I've watched episodes Dawson's Creek, America's Next Top Model, Beauty and the Geek, Scrubs, Arrested Development and 1/3 of an episode of Degrassi (until I realised it doesn't have any of the original cast - don't bother!!). It's a terrible thing that I've discovered this site at the beginning of new semester. I'm never getting any work done!

In other news, I have an interview on Thursday for an OSHC job! Woot!
(That's Out of School Hours Care for you uninformed peeps - before and after school care in layman's terms)
Wish me luck!

P.S. I don't really count brush strokes.. t'was kinda a reference to Stranger Than Fiction.. good movie, go see it!

    Thank god its gone.

Shun almost cried when I showed him the picture and said that we have spiders like that in our houses sometimes in Australia!

hehe. great entertainment value. I need to find some rubber ones to put in the bed in OZ!

If a spider was on the wall above my bed, I would be hysterical. I could absolutely NOT sleep (or function) in that sort of situation. I need to meet a boy who is atleast a sissy as me (so they won't make fun of me) or brave enough to remove it, I don't understand how people can just be indifferent to having a giant spider in the room.

EeEE, I am getting shivers talking about it!

I'm not sure which is worse, mutant spiders or mutant cockroaches... *shudder* (the ones that hiss and fly probably would be worse)

Does anyone really count brushstrokes, btw? (and that is a great film... really underrated here in the States I think :)

phewww, was thinking i'd have to get on a plane to Brisi to fix it for you!

    Good luck with your interview.

Now, as for Daniel's teacher, it was her, the attitude and the schools general lack of caring. His school in Canberra was tiny and just lovely so it's never going to be as good but i want better... If that makes sense? Teachers at Daniel's old school were young, vibrant and not necessarily practicing Catholics but they cared about the kids...

Jac, I'm the biggest spider wuss ever and I often tell hubby the only reason I married him is to protect me from them.

Good luck with the job. Josh is in after school care 2 days a week and loves it.

When people aren't afraid of the same things you are it seems rediculous or funny to them. SO unfair! I am a freak when it comes to spiders too. BAD BAD>
